My friend Jenn,  reminded me of the song by John Cougar Mellancamp, Little Pink Houses For You and Me. I did a pink house back in my Rain series.
Here is another pink house! I looked up the lyrics to the song and it actually fits very well for this pink house as well as Memorial Day weekend. A similar saying I hear a lot in the Army town I live in. .. "Home of the free, because of the brave."
