Coffee Day

Today was a definite coffee day!
I have been cutting back on coffee, but don't deprive myself when I am in the mood.
It was a gloomy rainy morning here in Central Texas as I took my daughters to school. It felt like Seattle in my mind, where I grew up and still consider to be "home."
Taking my Chocolate Lab, Finn on a rain walk I talked on the phone to a good friend, who reminded me of our coffee mornings we used to have, while living in El Paso, Texas, where we first met.
It is the friends I miss so much whom I have met on our many military moves that I may never meet again at my new locations.

extra foamy lattes, rain, and precious friends are on my mind on this central Texas day.
