With an early release day for my daughter's school we needed an activity to fill some time before heading off to soccer practice. The weather was beautiful today in Central Texas- 80's, sunny skies, and a nice breeze. A perfect day to paint outside and set up an art space. Since I started my challenge, A Painted House A Day my two girls have been waiting patiently to create their own Art House. Using acrylic paints, brushes, and a canvas they worked for an hour and some- creating each their own expression of a painted house.
I love how abstract they turned out!
I think that Maizie's house...with the orange sunset has an Albuquerque - New Mexico flare. We did live in El Paso, TX for two years and did some traveling to New Mexico. And Ciena's house is purple and expressive.
Don't worry...my painted house - House #18 is almost ready to post!
